Come out an meet the candidate for the St. Petersburg Mayors Race and our very own Talk Radio Host Wille Lawson of 860 AM WGUL It seems all the focus is on Washington D.C. - and rightly so - but we need to pay just as much attention to the people we place in local government - city councils, school board, county commission, etc. St. Petersburg's mayor is elected to a four-year term and is paid $162,314. As the city's chief administrator, the mayor oversees a roughly $217-million operating budget and 2,800 municipal employees.
So this is your chance to hear in person how the next mayor of St. Petersburg will govern. Please attend - even if you do not live in St. Petersburg.
